Foreign investment in Iran up
TEHRAN – Foreign investment was on the rise in the first nine months of current Iranian year (started March 21, 2007), announced an Economic Affairs and Finance Ministry official on Friday.
Attending the first exhibition on Iran’s investment opportunities on southern Kish Island, Ahmad Jamali added that the strategy of fascinating and encouraging investors is on the government’s agenda.
He said that the government is considering facilitating and accelerating the process of attracting foreign investors.
Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the fair, the Managing Director of the Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO) Majid Shayesteh added that Iran has attracted $10 billion worth of foreign investment in its previous year
